Leagues

Junior Golf League (Wednesdays)

This summer league was designed to help youth ages 9 to 15 develop their golf skills with an emphasis on sportsmanship, golf etiquette and enjoyment of the game in a relaxed atmosphere. Participants must have previous golf experience such as lessons or other golf activities, but do not need to be highly skilled. The league introduces players to a variety of different tournament formats.  See the Spring and Summer Park District Brochures for information on dates and registration.

Women’s Golf League (Mondays)

Whether you are new to the game of golf or have enjoyed the game for years this league is for you. With over 40 years of history the league caters to women golfers 18 years and better. All games are played at the nine hole par 3 Apple Orchard Golf Course on Mondays. Tee times are available in the morning or evening whichever you prefer. League activities include: longest drive, shortest putt, best ball scramble and more throughout the season. The cost of the league is $25, however this fee does NOT include the greens fees. You can select to pay for those each visit, with a 10 punch round card, or season pass. League play begins the last Monday of April and wraps up in August. Celebrate the end of the season with the golf banquet. This requires advance registration near the end of the season and a fee that includes a delicious dinner, raffle prizes, awards, and camaraderie. This is not a Park District program and is run independently of the golf course operations.
