KIDS FIT

TEENS IN TRAINING

Age: 12-17 year
Location: LIFECENTER Health & Fitness Club
Instructor: LIFECENTER Personal Training Staff

Participants will complete 4 one-on-one personal training sessions and 1 nutrition focused session with a certified personal trainer. Each student will learn:

  • Proper warm-up techniques
  • Appropriate equipment usage
  • Equipment safety & spotting techniques
  • Basic muscle anatomy
  • Proper lifting techniques
  • Proper exercise form
  • Stretching & mobility fundamentals
  • Basic gym etiquette

A verbal or written exam will be given at the end of each session. Final session will include a written test of knowledge. To enroll, please visit the LIFECENTER Front Desk.

*Teens aged 12-13 years can become eligible for membership with the recommendation of their personal trainer. Young participants must demonstrate maturity and appropriate skill level before they can upgrade to a full student membership. Once membership is approved, members aged 12-13 years must be accompanied by an adult member during their workouts.

Once eligible $100 discount will be applied to an annual membership.

YOUTH FITNESS TRAINING

Age: 12-15 years
Location: LIFECENTER Health & Fitness Club
Instructor: LIFECENTER Personal Training Staff

  • 2X weekly group training classes designed for kids (12-15 years old)
  • Cardio and body weight-based exercises.
  • Weight training instruction, including spotting techniques.
  • Supervision by a fully qualified personal trainer
  • Gym induction for the easiest, safest transition to a lifetime of exercise!

This class is open to all athletes, both boys and girls with enthusiasm for fitness. It is a 60-minute small group training class and will focus on gym safety, weight training, cardio endurance, and flexibility training.
