Q. How will I know if my birthday party request has been approved?
A. If your requested date isn’t available, we’ll contact you. Otherwise, you’ll receive a confirmation within 3–4 business days.
Q. Is there a Deposit needed and when is it due?
A. Full payment is due within 3 days of receiving your confirmation.
Q. Do you host parties for all ages?
A. Yes! We welcome all ages. Just complete the form and share your ideas—we’ll do our best to make your celebration special.
Q. Am I allowed to arrive early to setup for my party?
A. You may arrive up to 15 minutes early for setup and have 15 minutes after to wrap up.
Q. Will a staff person be designated to my party?
A. Yes, a staff member will be there to help you get settled and answer any questions.
Q. Can we use other areas to congregate for our party?
A. Please use only the spaces listed in your agreement during your visit.
Q. How many tables and chairs are in the room?
A. Each room includes two seating tables, one food table, and chairs. Combine two Prairie Classrooms for up to 32 guests and two food tables. Additional rooms and setup options are available upon request.
Q. Are we allowed to bring food into the rooms?
A. Yes! You may bring your own food or order pizza through the Nature Center. Please note there are no warming ovens or refrigerators available. Pizza packages and white table covers are available for an additional fee.
Q. Birthday Party Supervision Guidelines
A. Children must be supervised at all times. Supervisors should be 14+ for ages 7 and up, or 18+ for children under 7, and must stay actively involved. Please, no unsupervised play in the exhibit area.
Q. What is your refund policy?
A. Refund Policy
Cancellations made 21 or more business days before the rental receive a refund minus a $25 service fee. No refunds are given for cancellations within 20 days of the event. Refunds are processed through Guest Services at the Bartlett Community Center (Mon–Fri 9am–6pm, Sat 9am–12pm).
