School Day Off Camps (K-6th Grade)

Enjoy your days off school with us at the Bartlett Community Center. School Day off will involve gym time, board games, card games, arts and crafts and movies. Be sure to register early as a decision on the camp will be made five days before the start date.

School Day Off Camps are for children in Kindergarten-Sixth Grade. Campers are asked to be walked into the Community Center and sign in at the Gymnasium. Camp pick up will take place in the Arts & Crafts Room. Camp runs from 8am-3pm.

Camps are held throughout the school year during school days off and include a variety of ages and encompass outdoor activities.

Day Camp

Campers can enjoy camp 2 or 5 days per week. Your child will learn new games, participate in craft projects and meet new friends. On weather appropriate days, this camp will play water games or visit the pool when capacity allows*. This summer the field trips will come to us and we will participate in “in-house” field trips. Camp activities will vary. Depending on enrollment, camp may be split into two age groups. All campers are swim tested and wrist banded appropriately based on the ability to swim one length of the pool. The buddy system is also used. Campers must pass the swim test to use the zipline and slides. A camp t-shirt is included. Before (7:30-8:30am) and After (3:30-5:30pm) Camp Recreation is available for this camp, advance registration is required. Required Supplies: Campers should wear comfortable play clothes, & gym shoes. Each day please bring a sack lunch, water, sunscreen and bug spray. On water play/pool days, a swimsuit and towel are required.

*Depending on capacity implemented by Restore Illinois Guidelines, visiting the pool could be limited to twice per week for full week camps and once per week for two day camps. Water activities will be played on alternate days if weather allows.

Sports Camp

This summer camp features indoor and outdoor athletic activities. The camp emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and of course fun. Campers will participate in many activities including sports instruction, games and scrimmages in soccer, basketball, floor hockey, football, dodgeball and more. On weather appropriate days camp will play water games and will visit the pool when capacity allows*. Participants will be divided into age-specific groups for activities throughout the day. This summer the field trips will come to us. We will participate in weekly “in-house” field trips providing the opportunity to try new activities without traveling. This is the perfect camp for the sports enthusiast, and it’s sure to keep your camper active the whole day. A camp t-shirt is included in the fee. All campers are swim tested and wrist banded appropriately based on their ability to swim one length of the pool. The buddy system is also used.  After Camp Recreation (3:30-5:30pm) is available for this program, pre-registration is required. Tiny Tykes Camp

This camp is designed to introduce young children to the camp experience. Children will play games and participate in craft projects as well as structured playtime both inside and outdoors. This camp does not go swimming, but occasionally visits the Bartlett Aquatic Center Spray Playground and/or plays water activities. Daily activities will vary. Children must be toilet independent. Counselors will request campers bring a swimsuit & towel as needed. Campers should bring a water bottle, snack, spray on sunscreen and bug spray daily. Before Camp Recreation

This option is available to campers registered for Camp Day by Day, Tiny Tykes & Teen Camp. Before Camp Recreation will meet in the BCC Gymnasium for activities and games from 7:30-8:30am. After Camp Recreation

Open to all participants enrolled in Day Camp and Sports Camp. Participants must be enrolled in one of the above listed camps in order to participate in the extended camp option. Children will enjoy games, activities and crafts. Please send your camper with a snack and water.

Teen Camp

This program is an opportunity for your teen to stay busy in a memorable way over summer break. Teens will meet at the Bartlett Community Center and will participate in a service project and visit the pool if weather allows. All service projects will be completed at the Bartlett Community Center. Participants should bring a sack lunch, water bottle, spray on sunscreen and bug spray. Weekly communication will include details pertaining to each service project. Teen Campers can also register for before and After Camp Recreation.
