Volunteer Experiences with Bartlett Park District
Why volunteer? Volunteering at any age helps connect you with the community and world showing how YOU make a difference. You must be a minimum of 13 years old or in high school to volunteer. We have a variety of opportunities for volunteers to connect with our guests. Students needing volunteer hours for school; please think ahead. It is not always possible to find volunteer experiences immediately. We want to make sure your experience is valuable and what your instructor assigned. Volunteer opportunities are posted each season on our website. All prospective volunteers must complete and submit a volunteer application and waiver & release form. Please fill out the specific application below and fill out and turn in at the Bartlett Community Center Guest Services or use the fillable form, save the file under your name, and email to Stephanie Fairbanks. If you are selected to be a volunteer you will be required to complete a Criminal Background Check.

Court Ordered Community Service: please contact Human Resources at 630-540-4811. You must be a minimum of 16 years of age.

Villa Olivia Winter Ski Patrol
The Ski Patrol administers first aid to injured or ill patrons, assists patrons to medical care facility for treatment, evacuates patrons from the chair lift when necessary and facilitates overall safety by following and implementing slope etiquette and rules. This is an at-will position. Please read the Ski Patrol Information document below for qualifications, specific training, and volunteer hours.

Junior Naturalist
Share your enthusiasm for the outdoors and come spend a week at Bartlett Nature Center helping our young campers that participate in our exciting summer camps. You must be at least 14 years old, enjoy spending time outside with children, participate in an interview, and attend a training session.

Bartlett Park District offers unpaid internships year-round. The position is open to students needing an internship to complete their graduation requirements from an accredited university or college. Students must be majoring in recreation, sport, special event management or a related field. All applications should include a resume and cover letter.
