Athletic Classes, Camps, & Leagues

Bartlett Park District offers a wide range of youth leagues, classes, and camps for all ages throughout the year. Please view the seasonal program guide.

Bartlett Park District League Philosophy:

Our goal is to make our leagues an environment that is POSITIVE, SAFE and FUN for all involved. Our programs are designed to go beyond the scoreboard focusing on building character, lifelong skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, fair play, and personal growth. We emphasize skill development and education, social connection and teamwork, sportsmanship and integrity, and building trust and confidence in every child. The safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers, and the residents of Bartlett remain our top priority. We strive to create a space where every player can learn, grow, and enjoy the game.

Behavior expectations:

To ensure a positive, safe & supportive experience for everyone, we ask that all participants, parents, coaches, and spectators:

  • Display good sportsmanship
  • Show respect to teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and spectators
  • Refrain from negative behavior, including inappropriate language or actions
  • Support an atmosphere of encouragement, fairness, and fun
  • Set a positive example, recognizing that behavior influences those around you
  • We uphold a zero-tolerance policy for any form of verbal or physical assault directed at staff, officials, volunteers, parents, children, or spectators.
  • Anyone in attendance at a youth sporting event must remain free from drugs and alcohol this includes use at or near fields, courts, and facilities.

Did you know? Less than 1% of youth sports participants receive a college scholarship. Let’s keep the focus where it belongs on growth, fun, and learning through play.

Achieving our goals for the community requires the cooperation and commitment of everyone involved. Thank you for helping us maintain a friendly, safe, and professional environment that reflects the values of the Bartlett Park District. Together, we can create an environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired.

Let’s keep the positive impact of youth sports on and off the fields, courts, and facilities, do not let this be you.

Volunteer Coaching: Our youth sports leagues depend on volunteer head coaches, assistant coaches, and team coordinators. We provide all the necessary training, resources, and equipment to ensure you are prepared to coach and have a fun and rewarding experience. Please consider volunteering to coach a team.

Thank you to all our coaches and officials for all you do.  To everyone attending, playing, and involved let’s keep it all in perspective…Frank Martin couldn’t have said it any better.
