BASKETBALL
On July 29, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity released a new All Sports Policy effective August 15, 2020. This guidance under the Restore Illinois Plan pertains to all youth and adult recreational sports including but not limited to school-based sports (IHSA & IESA), travel clubs, private leagues and clubs, recreational leagues, centers, and park district sports programs.
The safety of our staff, patrons, and participants continue to be of the utmost importance as we adjust to offer safe, fun, and developmental recreational experiences for the community. Once our plans are finalized, we will provide updated information on our district website (bartlettparks.org), TeamSideline, and email registered participants with the information.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these changes.

SOCCER LEAGUES (FALL & SPRING)
The soccer program is designed to appeal to a wide range of soccer abilities, from introducing the game to novices with no prior experience, to challenging more experienced players. The following divisions are available: Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd/4th Grade, 5th/6th Grade, and 7th/8th Grade. Kindergarten through 2nd grade is co-ed. All other leagues are divided up by gender.
Teams are newly formed for the Fall season. Fall players return to the same team in the Spring or are combined with another returning Fall team. New Spring players are added to existing Fall teams, or new Spring teams are created. Teams wear professional-looking soccer uniforms (included in the registration fee).
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Graders receive a new uniform in the Fall and Spring. 3rd-8th Grade players wear the same uniform for both Fall and Spring.
In-house games are all played at various nearby Park District fields. Inter-Village divisions require teams to travel up to 20 minutes away to play surrounding communities such as Carol Stream, Elgin, Bloomingdale, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, and Streamwood.
Many coaches are needed to make this a great league. Please consider volunteering as a coach. We provide equipment, training, and resources. Complete the bold section on the registration form, and be sure to provide an email address. If not enough coaches volunteer, the league is forced to have large teams, reducing playing time or limiting the number of teams within the league.
GIRLS SOFTBALL
2021 Girls House Softball
The softball program is designed to appeal to a wide range of softball abilities, from introducing the game to novices with no prior experience, to challenging more experienced players. Teams are newly formed for the Spring season. Bartlett is part of the MRF league with Carol Stream, Streamwood, Bloomingdale, Roselle and Glendale Heights. Age levels will coincide with ASA age regulations. Fall players return to the same team in the Spring if they choose to play. New Fall players are added to existing Spring teams or new Fall teams are created. Each player will receive a sleeveless professional jersey and matching socks (included in the registration fee). Due to the size and nature of the program, we do not accept carpool or friendship requests nor can we guarantee coach requests. The Spring season includes a 14 game season for each division, followed by single elimination playoffs for all divisions. The Fall season includes an 8 game season for each division.
Registration is now open for the Spring season. The registration deadline for residents and nonresidents is Friday, March 5th. Pricing and further league information can be found on pg. 49 of our winter guide:
