Programs

The Bartlett Park District runs thousands of programs each year encompassing all ages. For the most up to date information download the current seasonal program guide to see how you can learn more, laugh more, and live more.

Our programs vary from year to year and season to season. We are continually changing programs to reflect what you would like to join. To view our programs please download a copy of our current program guide. Click on the “Program Guide” on the right. If you have any questions regarding our programs or if you cannot find what you are looking for please call 630-540-4800 and our registration staff will be happy to assist you.

We value your input in creating programs that are meaningful and enjoyable to you and your family. Please utilize the program evaluation form below after you participate in a program/event/or service to let us know about your experience. The form can be filled out and emailed in, faxed in, dropped off at BCC front desk, put in the drop box of BCC, or mailed in to Bartlett Park District. You can submit it with or without a name.

Little Tots Nature Class Jan. 14 & Jan. 28  10-11am
This program provides an opportunity for parents and tots to explore different themes and participate in hands on activities together and meet others. Jan. 14 theme is Penguins and Jan. 28 theme is Polar Bears. Age 2-3 with adult $15 each date

Day of Fun School Day Off Camp 
Held at the Bartlett Nature Center
Jan. 18 – Winnie the Pooh – 9am-3pm – Age: 6-13
Jan. 29 – Puzzles – 9am – 3pm – Age: 6-13

Youth  Dance Classes start date pushed from the week of January 11 to the week of January 25. Register today and dance!

Zoom Music Lessons
Select voice, clarinet, flute, or saxophone lessons that will be zoom taught by Kevin Mikol at a time that is convenient for you both. Kevin has been teaching at the Bartlett Park District for over a decade and has hundreds of students that have benefitted from his expertise and teaching style. The next sessions begins in January. Music lessons make a wonderful holiday gift for any age.

Virtual Kindermusik
Kindermusik takes early music education to the next level. Our music-and-movement activities are carefully and creatively designed to enhance children’s cognitive, language, physical, creative, and social-emotional development. Kindermusik’s focus on different musical concepts, genres, and styles helps foster a lifelong love of and appreciation for the music itself. The next session begins January 19.

Rock it Kids at Home
Registered participants will receive an email from Rock ‘n’ Kids on Mondays at 8 a.m. with that week’s pre-recorded, private, 30-minute virtual class, and allowing families to participate on their own time. Activities will include opening songs, weekly theme introduction, 5-6 additional music activities, and closing songs. Along with class content, supplemental activities will be included to enhance your child’s learning. Class activities will involve rhythm, fine and gross motor, imaginative play, sensory integration and listening skills. Rock ‘n’ Kids has been enjoying children’s wiggles and giggles for 25 years! You won’t want to miss this chance for safe, musical fun and learning with your child. Classes begin in January.

Virtual Spanish Lessons LIVE on ZOOM
Adult: In this class you will learn conversational Spanish that you can immediately begin using. The class will be tailored to the needs of the students enrolled. Youth: Children will learn conversational Spanish as well as some phonics, reading, and writing skills through interactive activities. Each session covers new material.

One on One Archery Lessons
Each lesson is one hour in length and there are many class types to choose from. The option to pay on a class- to-class basis, or to purchase a group of classes at one time, is available. Classes may be set up with the instructor beforehand by calling the Nature Center. Students may bring their recurve bow or equipment can be provided; no compound bows allowed. Co-Ed soccer 5 v 5 League grades 3rd-12th
Recreational and competitive levels of play available. Each week, you’ll play in  games lasting 30 minutes each. Grades 3rd-High School

Valentine’s Gnome for Love Katie’s Krafty Korner Feb 13 12-2pm
Make a Valentine themed gnome couple. All supplies included. Age 8-adult $25

Dinosaurs Feb. 20  1-2pm
Explore the dinosaur world. Dig for bones, create fossils, and hunt dinosaurs. Age 2-4 w/ adult $15

Maple Syruping March 20  12:30-2pm
Learn how to tap maple tress and turn the sap into maple syrup. Age 2 and over w/adult $15 per person

March 29- April 2 – Nature STEAM Camp – 9am-3pm – Age: 6-13
