Adult Athletics

ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUES

The Bartlett Park District offers 5 Men’s Basketball Leagues a year. There is a Fall 35+ Men’s League which starts in September and 18+ Men’s Leagues which start in December, April, July and September. Games are played on Tuesday or Thursday evenings depending on the league between 6:30-9:30pm. Teams are guaranteed 8 games and then the top teams will play in a single elimination playoff.  Prize money and trophies for the top teams. Team fees are due before the first game.

OPEN GYM (January-March)

The Bartlett Park District offers a variety of open gyms for adults during scheduled times. You should bring your basketball when attending a basketball open gym; Pickleball equipment will be provided. If posted Open Gym rules are not followed, participants may be asked to leave and potentially suspended from participation depending on the infraction. Once the maximum number of participants has been reached, additional participants will be allowed to enter only when someone leaves.

Photo Identification Required (Adults)
All Adult Open Gym participants are required to hand over a photo ID to staff working behind the open gym check-in table before entry. The ID will be returned upon leaving. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, state ID, or college student ID. Participants will not be admitted without a photo ID card.

1-2 courts are reserved for shooting hoops and pickup games. Photo Identification Required.

Pickleball Open Gym
Pickleball combines tennis, badminton, and ping pong for a fun game. Pickleball is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic ball similar to a whiffle ball and composite paddles. The game is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Our facility currently offers 4 courts.

Family Basketball Open Gym
This Open Gym allows kids to come and shoot some hoops with their favorite adults. Children must be accompanied by an adult (18 years old and older). Adults without children will not be admitted.

E-SPORT CLASSES

Test your skills and compete in these Esports Leagues! To participate, players must have the correct video game, gaming device and access to online play. For any questions on how to get set up with online play contact support@ggleagues.com. Registration deadline January 10.

For single player (1v1) leagues:

For multiplayer (2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, 6v6) leagues:

ADULT FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUES

The Bartlett Park District offers a Co-Ed Flag Football League in the fall and spring. Teams will play a 6 game regular season followed by a single elimination playoff. Cash prizes will be awarded for league winners. Games will be played 8v8 and each team must have 3 female’s on the field at all times. Game times will be 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30pm (dependent on the number of teams). Flags will be provided at games. An intermediate size football will be used. Teams must provide their own jerseys/shirts.

 

CUP IN HAND KICKBALL LEAGUES

Teams will play a 6 week regular season followed by an end of the season tournament. Games will take place Wednesday evenings at 7, 8, or 9pm. Teams can have up to 11 players on the field with a max of 7 men and a minimum of 3 women at all times. Cash awards and prizes will be awarded to the top teams in the playoffs.

 

ADULT PICKLEBALL LEAGUES

League Rules

Leagues will consist of one match each week for 6 weeks followed by an end of the season tournament. The top teams will compete in the end of season tournament on Sunday, February 27th. A match will consist of the best 2 out of 3 games to 11. Games are self-officiated. Paddles and balls are supplied for use if players do not have their own. Registration deadline January 7th.

ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUES

The Bartlett Park District offers a Men’s 12″, Men’s 16″, Co-ed 12″, Co-ed 14″ mushball and Co-ed 14″ hardball Softball League. Teams are guaranteed 10 or 12 (dependent on league) regular season games before the single-elimination playoffs. All men’s league games are played at the Koehler Field Complex (2245 Southwind Blvd.). All co-ed league games will be played in Bartlett, Streamwood and Roselle depending on the teams registered. All leagues are governed by ASA rules.

ADULT VOLLEYBALL LEAGUES

Teams will play a 6 week regular season followed by and end of the season playoff for the top teams. Teams will play a match of 3 games each week and each game will count towards their record. Games are played 6 on 6 with a minimum of 2 females. Prizes will be awarded to the championship team.

 

ADULT WALLYBALL LEAGUES

Each match will consist of the best of 3 games. The first team to score 15points (winning by two points or more) will be declared the winner of that game. Teams will consist of at least 4 players. A team may start a match/game with two players. Teams must have at least as many women to men on a side. Leagues will consist of one match each week for 8 weeks followed by an end of the season tournament. Games are self-officiated. Game times will be 7, 8, and 9pm (dependent on the number of teams).
