YOUTH AND ADULT THEATRE

The Bartlett Park District currently supports one youth musical production each year and new this year we are adding an adult theatre show. The theatre is run as a program; however, auditions are hosted to cast the roles in each production. Those cast within the production must pay a program fee. Information about upcoming shows will be posted as it is available.

MUSICAL THEATRE EMPLOYMENT/VOLUNTEERS

Adult Theatre

Clue: On Stage

Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!

Performances will be held October 24 at 7pm, October 25 at 7pm and October 26 at 1pm.

Rehearsals will be held Sundays 4-8pm and Tuesdays 6:30-9pm.

Auditions will be held by appt. in Bartlett Community Center Program Room 2 on Sunday, August 11.

Youth Theatre 

Aladdin, Jr

Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. With expanded characters, new songs, and more thrills, this new adaptation of the beloved story will open up “a whole new world” for your young performers!

Audition information will be posted in October 2024. Show dates are March 13-16, 2025.
