Schick Park Playground
A brand-new playground is coming to Schick Park, with construction beginning Spring 2026 and an anticipated completion by mid-June 2026.
Project timeline:
- Construction fencing installed beginning April 20
- Existing playground removal on April 23
- Demolition begins April 27
- Anticipated completion mid-June

Ribbon Cutting Celebration • June 24 • 5:30pm
Join us as we celebrate the grand reopening of Sunrise Park (900 W. Struckman Rd)! The ceremony will showcase the park’s exciting upgrades, including brand‑new playground equipment, a pump track, a renovated basketball court, and enhancements to the disc golf course, pathways, and fishing access. After the ceremony, stick around to explore the refreshed park and enjoy the Pack the Park event beginning at 6pm. This project was made possible through a partnership with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) program.

Barracuda Bay Water Park
Rebranding Bartlett Aquatic Center as a water park elevates the facility’s identity and showcases the full scale of attractions, amenities, and experiences it delivers. Barracuda Bay introduces a vibrant, memorable brand that invites families to dive into adventure while creating a unified theme that resonates across the entire guest experience. The name also strengthens community by aligning with the Park District’s swim team, the Barracudas—building a brand that feels both exciting and authentically Bartlett.

Enjoy our live music series on the patio, relax under the open sky with talented local musicians, seasonal cuisine, and a vibrant atmosphere. Perfect for evenings with friends, family, or a special night out. In case of rain, the event will be held inside Villa Olivia.
